The first package is Africa, Asia, Antarctica and Australia. The second package covers Europe and South America.
What Grades Does the Elementary Geography Curriculum Focus On?
Our elementary-focused study packs are written to help homeschool families introduce the world to children in kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades while students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade levels will explore geography in the United States. All of our curriculum is designed to span multiple grades, enabling families to navigate the world together.
Does Beautiful Feet Books’ Curriculum for Elementary Geography use the Charlotte Mason Method?
Our curriculum takes a Charlotte Mason-based approach to education by teaching kids about geography through story, maps, and hands-on activities to provide a thoughtful education experience for elementary aged children.
Is Literature-Based Geography Appropriate for Younger Kids?
For young children, story is often the most natural way to build knowledge and memory about our world. Beautiful Feet Books' elementary geography units use engaging picture books and read-alouds that captivate students while teaching them about the world.
What are the Core Components of an Elementary Geography Curriculum?
Our geography homeschool curriculum includes activities to deepen learning for your child. Students will make maps to learn about continents, find them on the globe, examine bodies of water or major world regions. Other hands-on activities include coloring flags, learning about indigenous animals and their habitats, and recipes to experience the cuisine of each country.
