What High School History Curriculum Does Beautiful Feet Books Offer?
For 9th to 12th grade, we offer literature-based studies in US History, World History, Ancient History, Social Studies, and Medieval History. Each study includes a teacher guide with discussion questions, writing assignments, and a reading schedule. We give high school students the structure they need while keeping the focus on great books. All required books are included in the pack.
Our high school curriculum covers the following time periods:
- Ancient History for 9th and 10th grade explores the early civilizations of the Egyptian, Greek, and Roman Empires. This guide covers the ancient world from prehistory to AD 700.
- Medieval History is designed for 10th and 11th grade and covers AD 400-1600. This course covers the revolutionary ideas and people that changed Europe, Asia, and Africa.
- Modern U.S. and World History is designed for older students in high school, 11th-12th graders. This study covers the years 1850-2000, including many of the major events that shaped America and the challenging topics that contributed to the understanding of our geopolitical state today.
Which Grade Levels are Included in Beautiful Feet Books’ High School Curriculum?
We provide comprehensive homeschool history curriculum packs for grades 9-12. All curriculum packs are designed to develop critical thinking alongside their parents' teaching. Our high school curriculum is designed to meet the educational standards across all four years:
- 9th Grade Homeschool History: Cultivating foundational research and analysis skills focusing on ancient history.
- 10th Grade Homeschool History: Developing your students' historical analysis by examining the social shifts of medieval history.
- 11th Grade Homeschool History: Bringing together literature and critical analysis with in-depth US and World history.

Is the High School Curriculum Charlotte Mason?
Beautiful Feet Books homeschool curriculum is influenced by the Charlotte Mason method. The use of living books, narration, and discussion reflects that approach, but it's not strictly a Charlotte Mason program. It works well for Charlotte Mason households as well as in classical, eclectic, and other homeschool styles.
Is the High School History Curriculum Secular or Christian?
Our high school curriculum for Modern U.S. History and Medieval History take a neutral approach. World Geology and Ecology and Ancient History include Christian messaging in the Teacher Guide, but neutral versions are available on our Charter Approved page. Each product page lists which titles were removed.
