from 907 reviewsA perfect way to celebrate Presidents’ Day!
We have just started homeschooling our middle school grand daughter. The literature approach of Beautiful Feet is just what her heart needed. The Ancient and Medieval map helps her mentally picture the places as we read about the different characters. She has already filled in the oceans (very diligently!) and is excited to start on the Fertile Crescent!
This was an easy to use guide. It had several books we already owned from our Beautiful Feet Curriculum. The other books were easily accessible from our local library.
This was a great way to make Jamestown and history overall come to life for my 3rd grader. She was sad when the book ended! Very imaginative and helped paint a true picture of the hardships that occurred and bravery of the colonists.
We are halfway through our guide for Modern American and World History. My boys, grades 8 and 5, enjoy the reading and usually request to keep going. We have wonderful discussion guided by the questions. I am so grateful for the vocabulary words and the writing assignments which take this curriculum to an entirely new level. We highly recommend this curriculum.
We got to read this during Children's Storytime portion of Sunday service at our Christian church. What a beautiful book that teaches us to see a person in the fullness of who they are!
Love the quality of the notebook.
This is my second time purchasing the Early American History guide. I loved it so much my first time through, I gave it to a friend to use with her kids. Now I’m planning on it for my new first grader. There are topics for discussion and you can go as deep as you want on them. For first grade I plan on using the picture books and rabbit trails to give a thorough introduction to main historical figures and national holidays.
Honestly, loving it so far. My daughter wants more, more, more. Learning really is exciting!
I have used this guide with several of my teens. They have all enjoyed it and learned so much. It is just the right amount of books that are high interest. I've never come across a better product than this in my 27 years of homeschooling! It fosters independence and a love of history. The open and go format is just what moms need as well!
Our co op read Minn of the Mississippi and this was a great addition to the reading. Love how the map comes in a tube for easy transport to and from home!
These are gorgeous and I cant wait to use them!
I love the Art Appreciation books! We just got started on it so beautiful. Kids love it and so do I!
My daughter and I have loved every book we have received! It prompts some great discussions.
Absolutely wonderful! Thoughtfully put together with intention and respect to how children learn. I thoroughly love BF books. We are using BF books in our homeschool as the main chunk of our enrichments (culture & geography, music, art, and nature) and wholeheartedly loving all of them!! Also - the book of composers is stunning! I tried teaching music appreciation on my own with resources from Amazon, and while it probably would’ve suited high schoolers just fine, the only material I could find was just too advanced for my middle school and young elementary students. This is perfect! Challenging enough for my oldest (6th) but flexible enough to include my littles as well. Truly love this very much and wish there were more like it to choose from for enrichment/morning basket subjects to teach family style!
